Mid-Course Student Survey

 

Standard Two emphasizes student feedback and encouragement for better learning outcomes.  The mid-point student feedback survey is one I use to determine if the heading of my courses are true and have value. Students are always encouraged to be honest and fair with their feedback. I give them many opportunities to submit feedback.

 

The mid-course survey gives them a chance to voice their preferences and tell me how they think the class is going. I always make sure the questions are subjective instead of objective. I use the information to make a course correction if needed.   

Students complete the survey and I will read and personally address some of the more substantive comments and results or critical comments
