Grade Center Analysis

I use the Performance Dashboard tool extensively for data that  provides a window into all types of user activity in a course or organization. All students enrolled in my course are listed, with pertinent information about that student’s progress and activity in the course.

Information on the page is directly related to what I have instituted in my course such as:
 

• Day Since Last Course Access

• Review Status

• Adaptive Release Map

• Discussion Board Posts

• EWS Notifications

• Gradebook Link
   

 

As in all data the statistical support must be at faculty fingertips to be effective. I use the performance dash board on a daily basis to predict students at risk and be proactive about contacting them before it is too late. The dashboard is always displayed in real-time so when I select the link to display it there is not updating needed. This gives me even more ability to craft feedback and strategy to save students who need extra help.
