Technology Preparation

 

This artifact includes preparation for basic computer technology. It is short, bulleted easy to understand and gives students a pathway for help if they need it. This again addresses preparedness and student efficacy to deal with the content and delivery of the course.

 

The following recommended web browsers are for use with the Blackboard learning system:

Whenever students are using the Blackboard learning system, I emphasize to be sure to turn their pop-up blockers OFF so they can see all of their course content. 

• Internet Explorer: Click on TOOLS, then look for POP-UP BLOCKER and select TURN POP-UP BLOCKER OFF

• Firefox: TOOLS> OPTIONS> CONTENT- uncheck Block pop-up windows

• Chrome: No changes necessary, pop-ups are automatically blocked

• Safari: Click on SAFARI>BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS
